D O M S SENIOR OPHTHALMIC SURGEON Ex professor of ophthalmology at BHIMS , MUMBAI UNIVERSITY Director of ophthalmology, BOMBAY HOSPITAL, MUMBAI He is a pioneer of intra ocular lens and ophthalmic microsurgery in India, and is instrumental in devising innovative techniques in ophthalmic surgery. He has a wide experience and practical approach in glaucoma surgery, cosmetic squint surgery, corneal surgery including Lasik and medical retina and complicated ophthalmic surgeries. Wide experience of many years of most complicated surgeries of the eye and with associated systemic complications of the body . He has operated simple poor people to VIP s like eminent medical personalities, political and social dignitaries and prominent religious personalities successfully. He has taught and nurtured many ophthalmologists who are now big names in the field in India and abroad. He has done immense amount of free work and treated innumerable poor patients free of cost. He has carried on lots of free eye camps for years together in Maharashtra , Gujrat and even abroad from his early career till this day.
